Good Mexican place with awesome margaritas. Right in the broadway and has got a good dining area just outside the restaurant. Pretty cool ambiance at night. Good potion size..and pretty good variety of Mexican food. A good place to enjoy chicago summers during the evening.
Oh man, are these margaritas STRONG! However, the food definitely pales in comparison to the drinks. And I’ve had different experiences with the service each time I’ve gone – sometimes the waiters are great, other times they are forgetful. But if you’re looking for place with strong drinks, this one is a must-try.
All time fav Mexican food. Simply love this place!! I’ve been come here for just about 20 years and it’s the same great food!! Only difference is that Cesar has expanded the Resturant from one small area to purchasing both sides of his existing Resturant! Cesar has been a friend of mine from day one!! He’s a very friendly person and the atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy!! It a must dine here place!! It’s more like home to me… See you soon Cesar, my friend!!
We were told 20 minute rate. Very acceptable on a friday night. After 40 minutes, we were told that our buzzer was broken and the next table was ours. We are patient so we waited. After 70 minutes, we tossed the pager back to the unfriendly hostess and walked out. Too bad too. The food looked good.
Service was adequate. Food was so-so. Had the Chicken Frida (special) and te brown sauce was quite good. Everything else was Just adequate. Same reaction from the rest of the table. Everyone seems to like the margaritas though.
Awesome place to grab cheap but good food and good drinks. They throw free stuff your way and the service is attentive. Definitely a place to pregame or to hit up happy hour.
