Do not hold an event here. We recently had an event for about 30 people here. Unfortunately the back patio space where we were seated was cut in half (a detail they conveniently forgot to mention on the phone), so it was rather crowded for a party of our size. Our arrival seemed as if it was a surprise to the kitchen, because our guests were just sitting around waiting for the food to come out well after the arrival time we had discussed. The wait staff was apologetic, however it was too late to make up for the fact that the kitchen was cleary very unprepared for a party of our size. They only assigned us one server, and while he was very nice and hard working, it is difficult for just one person to take 30 drink orders and deliver them in a timely manner. It would have been very helpful if they had at least had someone helping him out when the party first arrived, or even if they had put out pitchers of water or coffee pots just to alleviate some of him running around. We have been ther several times for dinner, and had a fine experience, but were very frustrated and disappointed with this event. I would highly recommend not using it for any parties larger than 10 people.
Good Barb-B-Q. Cooper’s offers delicious bar-b-q meats. I would recommend their great tasting Brisket and Pulled Pork, but the french fries are rather greasy and and disappointing when paired with the beef and pork sandwiches. I will try their home made ice cream on my next visit.
