I have been to D.S. Tequila a few times and the service has always been great. Love their patio too! But their food and margaritas have never blown me away 🙁 The last time I went the frozen margarita machines were broken and they only had a few flavors to chose from… not even the original. I really want to like D.S. Tequila but with the abundance of amazing Mexican food in Chicago, it’s just not cutting it.
This place is always a fun time! They have an awesome selection of margaritas and food, and the outdoor patio is the perfect spot to chill during the summer. I love their daily food specials as well. It can get busy sometimes, so don’t be surprised if there is a long wait.If I could change one thing, it would be the service – a lot of times the servers are slow or seem disinterested, which can really detract from the experience. Other than that, D.S. Tequila is a great place to eat, drink, and have fun.
Lots of looks on the outside, but lacking in substance. Weak drinks packed with ice & little alcohol. Unresponsive wait staff incapable of getting an order correct or providing prompt service.
Tasty tacos and one of the best turkey burgers in Chicago. Margaritas were very good – not as sweet as at some Mexican joints. Puzzling that no wines are offered since one of the owners is from Winebar across the street. And at these prices in this ‘hood, get some Dijon mustard!!
