  Completely dissatisfied. I was referred to this restaurant by a frequent patron, but when I arrived to enjoy dinner and drinks I felt like a ghost. I sat unnoticed at a highly visible table in the center of the restaurant as the waitresses breezed by me with looks of annoyance on their faces. After nearly 20 minutes we were finally offered drinks which were flat and uninviting once they arrived. The food was hardly mediocre, and the service was so horrid I actually went to such extremes as finding who I needed to contact to report them officially.

  Aight. Back in 1999 I decided to visit my cousin who was living out in the Chi…as a successful bartender, no less.This review is for my 1999 experience (a lil’ 10 yr. anniversary…*aaww* …shut yer mouf!). At that time, on that weekday night, this bar was a bartender’s bar…my cousin seemed to know everyone & would let me know what person bartended at what bar.I’ve always said- if a place is good enough for other bartenders & bar-help to check out, the drinks must be good, as well as the service.I wasn’t let down- although I don’t recall the bar get-up nor clearly remember the people that were there nor the music they played, I do recall the grand bonding my cousin & I had over a countless amount of ‘dranks’.I will also credit this place for busting my ass & breaking one of my heels (and almost breaking my ankle) during said process, as I attempted to walk over to a cab on our way out.Can’t blame them for this though, I’ve forgotten the pain I must have felt when I ate shit (can’t even say if it hurt, I was probably numb to the bone after all the drinks that went down the hatch)…but 10 yrs. later, I *still* remember the bonding moments I had with my cousin.
