We love this restaurant for it’s fantastic staff and food. We never miss a chance to eat here when we’re in town. It’s an easy walk from Wrigley Field too after an afternoon game.
Had a while to wait for our flight so we stopped in; not long after we were seated there was a long line outside so we were lucky to get right in. We had the Tipsy Burger and the Smokehouse Caprese burger; both were good but the Tipsy Burger was the winner by far. We had the chips on the side, and had one of them topped with the bleu cheese fondue–that was awesome. If I were them I would add some kind of onion dip for the chips; they were good and crispy but who eats dry potato chips? Server was wonderful and friendly (I think her name was Melody?) even though the restaurant was busy with crabby travelers. We would eat here again for sure!
Mia Francesca is a very cozy spot. They serve excellent Italian food with great wine pairings and delicious desserts. I would say they are a little cramped for space on weekends, even with a reservation.
