We really enjoyed our dinner. Our friends made the reservation, and the place was packed. Parking is awful, but the food was great. My friend and I shared the sampler sliders and the Cobb salad, and we left happy and full.

After deciding to go to Milt’s, I had very high expectations. I consider myself a BBQ expert and I am known to grill every week at home. SO to end a BBQ restaurant where the food is not made by me was a big step. As I first walk in I see a sign hat says 100% of the profits are donated to charity. This took me by complete surprise and I was so impressed. Never in my life have I ever seen such a system in a restaurant. Then the food came out and I was even way more impressed. The tacos with meat and guacamole were to die for. They had such an amazing flavor and it was so tasty. I am so happy I decided to go to Milt’s.

I can barely muster the energy to write this review because I just ate ALL THE BRISKET CHILI NACHOS in the land – at least that’s what it feels like. Nachos and BBQ are two of my favorite things – so any time I see combo action like this dish, it’s a no-brainer to order. It was epic. Granted, it’s $15 – but I thought it was worth it. It’s a giant plate, with heaping mounds of chili that has plentiful, super tender and flavorful brisket bites. It has just the right amount of heat and the chips were perfectly crispy and salty. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. This was only my first visit, and after watching all the ribs come out of the kitchen – I’ll be back to give those a whirl. Definitely hit this place up! givememeatloaf.com

Great Kosher BBQ. Milts is one of the best kosher restaurants in Chicago – the BBQ is excellent! What I like most of all is the Milt Burger – amost delicious hamburger that is one the best I have eaten.

They aren’t in it for the money here, which is obvious everywhere but the food. Some of it was very overpriced, but it’s for a good cause, so what do you care? The Miltburger however, was epic. Perfectly executed, save the beef bacon (don’t try so hard guys – beef and bacon aren’t the same thing, even though you might be able to get them to look similar). The coleslaw is authentic; the fries are superb and again perfectly executed. On an evening with decent weather, it’s great to dine on their sidewalk and people-watch on Broadway. We had great service, but it appears we were fortunate….lots of bodies standing around in black not doing a heck of a lot, so your mileage may vary.

Great Burger, Great Service. Had a very good Char Burger here at Milt’s I’d highly recommend it.
