Located inside the Long Room, the Sidecar window is a genius idea to provide local chefs with an opportunity to showcase their stuff. The menus change often and the space is shared at different times of the day, so expect different menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch! Currently, The Biscuit Man is making breakfast and lunch during the week and Beard and Belly is making dinner and late night snacks. Guest chefs for brunch on Sundays. You order at the window (inside LR) and they’ll text you when your order is ready. You can eat at the bar or take it out back on the patio.I was recently there to try Beard and Belly–the fried pickles were out of this world and the Reuben was one of the best I’ve had. Also had a seasonal Fall Salad with squash, apples, candied pecans, and Raspberry Bellavitano cheese. For guys with the name Beard and Belly, they really know how to nail a salad too. Veggie Sandwich was also a winner, accompanied by super thin, crispy, extra salty fries. The guys are friendly, the food is delicious, and it was all quick and reasonably priced.
