It’s a great BYOB place. Traditional Argentinian meat dishes make this place the first preference for meat lover. I went there with my friends and ordered their signature meat platter. It was huge and very rich. Meat was smokey and flavorful. A Must try place…
Amazing! Just don’t forget your own alcohol. They were very accommodating and the food was great! Order the dinner for two and you will not leave hungry!
WOW. You will not leave hungry! Strangely enough, last time I was here we picked a really great wine! It was an argentinian malbec so it was of course the perfect occassion being at an argentinian steak house with no corkage fees:)Service was a little slow and odd to start. Upon our arrival we had called ahead to put our name in, but it was a bit later in the evening on a Tuesday that it did not really matter too much. Although there was no real host… it was just like you want to sit here? Is this is ok? I was like sure I guess… I don’t know what the other options are considering I have never been here, but meh. When we sat we waited slightly longer than a table that sat next to us to be waited on. Perhaps our server was busy…. We were presented with waters before he came and when he did reach us he had a corkscrew ready and was ready to take orders and see what we needed help with.We decided to get some of the empanadas a la carte (beef and spinach/cheese). These were probably just about the best empanadas I have ever had. They were delicious and the sauce that goes with them is like heaven. Our meals included a salad however we were extremely underwhelmed with it. It looked like garnish on a plate. White onions, sliced beef steak tomatoes and lettuce not tossed just placed… it was very strange. Later, we discussed how they did have appetizing salads on the menu so it was odd to receive… and honestly quite unecessary. When we received our meal, we received a FEAST. If you want meat…. this is it! This is a coma that you will never come out of:) We ordered from the specials… he got the filet which was like 2 filets! And I got the vesuvio so it was a stuffed ribeye with spinach and cheese. We both came out of there stuffed to the brims and with leftovers in hand. The ambience of the candles, the live guitar, and the overall bustle makes you feel like you have escaped from the city. But then you bite into the flavors of your food and it surpasses all expectations. The service is a little touch and go, however they mean well. The food is great, except for the unecessary salad that was stuff on a plate. We will definitely return and SHARE. THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE! northandred.com
Great place to spend an evening enjoying great good, atmosphere, and whatever bottles of wine you brought. Plenty of selections, authentic Argentine flavors and choices, and service is great. Plan on dinner lasting a couple hours- this is a place to come and relax and enjoy- not a quick stop off for a meal.
Excellent food and service. Byob. We sat with our friend we haven’t seen for a year and visited for over 2 hours on a Monday night and did not feel rushed at all. Place was full. Definitely will eat there again.
Quaint place and nice romantic atmosphere. I know we went on a Friday night, but we arrived at 620pm. Two couples that came in after us were called to sit before us for the same size table. We finally sat after waiting for about 45 minutes. After that we rarely saw our waiter. The actual dinner lasted 2 hours, most of it being us waiting for the waiter to come around. He broughty friend cheese and spinach ravioli when she asked for meat, but he didn’t re order for fear it would take another 30 mins and we were already starving. My half chicken was a little dry. Once we were done and the table was cleared, we waited another 45 mins for the check. I would not go here again.
A great place to have a great steak at a great price. Being BYOB makes this place a hit. The steaks were cooked perfectly and service was good. We went a little early and were seated promptly. I will eat here again when I’m in town.
