Wisconnoisseur’s Delight. I stepped into this bar the first time and I was instantly transported to Wisconsin. There were plenty of open tables when we were there, not on a game day (but I was back since and will talk about that in a second). We had the Will’s Chili Bowl which served in a hollowed out bread loaf with a heap of Wisconsin sharp cheddar on the top of the some smokey and meaty chilli. It hit the spot. My girl, Allison, had the Merkt’s Cheddar Burger. I didn’t get to try hers at all because she ate it so fast. We shared the Will’s deep fried sampler and the deep fried pickle spears were awesome… almost as good as the cheese curds which melted in my mouth!I liked it so much I went back for a Wisconsin Badger game day. I was told to get there early because it sometimes fills up fast. They serve breakfast there. I had a banana cinnamon french toast and it came out and really surprised me. It looked great. By the time kick-off came by our table wanted more food but the main kitchen closes for game time and they open up a barbeque pit in the beer garden and they grilled up burgers, brats and hot dogs. They were cheap and good… and the beer was cheap too! This was an excellent value for the money!
