Had a meeting at Wishbone Lakeview, and wow am I glad they picked this spot! I forgot how awesome their shrimp and grits are…great slider deal too, 3 for $10 w/side of slaw! Excellent food and ambience, the server was a sweetheart and the owner Guy came out and told us stories from when he went to school with Anthony Bourdain in NYC. Pulled pork poutine…. Was really unique but not really my taste. The fries were great but there’s just too much on there for me – to much of a fishy / salty taste. The shrimp with the drenched bread was fantastic!! Got the smaller with cheese grits and coal slaw! I got the snapper. Didn’t like it – it was too plain and not at all marinated. The brisket, however, was phenomenal – soft, tasty, fall-off-the-bone taste.
Excellent brunch. My favorite is the eggs benedict with the gluten free English muffin. Breakfast potatoes are amazing and always enough for leftovers. Juices are great. I love the Bloody Mary too. Atmosphere is cool.
Absolutely delicious! The cheese grits are excellent. Bring your appetite and be prepared to need a nap after you stuff your face. The black bean cakes and the crab cakes are outstanding.
Yum & Then Some. Always good, Wishbone delivers a great breakfast but I can’t get over the Blackened Salmon they serve once in a while as a special. It is so good that I look for it anytime I am in the area
Great Food, Great Service. Casual, family friendly atmosphere & kind, peppy waiters. We liked this place a lot.(Especially the Mashed Sweet Potato and Sauteed spinach, mmmm!)
It was ok,but not enough to go back. Prices were good.
