Appetizers and wine were great, but the entrees were a big disappointment (pork belly and sturgeon.) The waitess was overwhelmed, unaware, and not helpful. We won’t return.
We had a great dinner here… The food was fresh and dishes unique without being intimidating. The kitchen was flexible on some special requests, staff was friendly and on top of their game, and we will definitely be going back.
Wonderful!. Between the six of us we ate our way through much of the menu. Dinners were unique and delicious, and the special salad with arugula was memorable. Saturday night was loud and bustling making conversation difficult, but the food and service more than made up for the sound. (We are told they are looking to remediate the situation shortly).
GO NOW. The food was excellent. We had the country pate and a salad for appetizers, the lamb shank and boar pasta for entrees, and the bread pudding for dessert. All were quite tasty, and very reasonably priced. The wine list was nice, with options at every price point and some well priced glasses. The beer list was short, but included some really great beers, mostly from the Midwest. Service was outstanding. The meal was very well paced, with no courses coming early and no long waits. Everything worked perfectly, which is great considering that its a new(ish) restaurant and it was a Saturday night. We will definitely be returning soon.
