STAY AWAY FROM THIS DIVE. My son’s girlfriend was sexually harassed and my son was robbed and physically assaulted last Friday night. My son came to the aide of his girlfriend. He was not disorderly, he did not strike anyone. Three bouncers led them quietly outside. THE MINUTE THEY STEPPED OUTSIDE THEY WERE HANDCUFFED. MY SON’S GOLD NECKLACE WAS RIPPED OFF, HIS SHIRT WAS RIPPED OFF HE WAS HANDCUFFED AND BEAT.If these cowards think they are going to get away with this, they won’t. We have a lawyer, we are going to the press, they and the bar will be held accountable. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS DIVE, hit him where it hurts, in his pocketbook.

Loves me a little Gamekeepers!. Can’t say enough about the mini-burgers on Monday’s (only $1) and the $2 1/2 pounders (Angus) on Tuesdays!! Weekly specials are good and the beer selection is OK – the usuals…Bass, Guiness, some micro-brews and Bud. The late nights are ok but I tend to leave before the extreme late night crowd appears – Im talking 3am.
March Madness 2010. So, I have to strart with the staff: friendly and uber helpful! Our waitress was on top of her game on Thursday night wings (crazy night for this place). She not only came by every 15 minutes but kept refilling pitchers as soon as she saw we had an empty. Food: Excellent wings especially for .25 cents (normally .10 censt but jacked up for March madness Im sure). My guy tried the Tar Heel burger (not a UNC fan but the burger was very good. Atmosphere: Nice location, nice decor and clean. Bathrooms: Ugh – in the basement. Although they were clean, TP & soap in the ladies room I do not care for bathrooms in the basement! But I degree, this did not take away from the good time we had last Thursday.Price: Fairly inexpensive during the week. Great specials from $2 beers to $9 pitchers.Overall: Had a great time and we will be back. We’ve been coming to Gamekeepers (about 35 of us) for the last several years and have noticed the changes from the atmosphere, HD & newly rehabbed look – keep it up and we’ll keep coming back.
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. My girlfriends and I went to Gamekeepers with our boys for some sports, beers and a little music. The food was good (for bar food), the beer(s) cold and the staff friendly. Our waitress always had a smile on her face even though she was extremely busy. I would recommend the mini-burgers and the Sure Thing wrap (spicey)…stay away from the pulled pork (tasty but messy) unless you like a lot of food (very big sandwich). Some cons to the joint – they dont let you polay the juke box during games. I know its a sports bar but how about a little tunes in between the games. Although they were very nice about saying no – NO is still NO. All-in-all an enjoyable experince for a sports bar…so gorls, if you have to follow your man to watch sports, this is a good place to do it!
