This restaurant is a staple in Lincoln Park. Its been here for quite a while. Last year, they added outdoor seating with fire pits, fondue and cheese plate options, and cocktails or other drinks. I like it outside better than sitting inside, which is dark, smells like stereo and oil, and the smell stays in your clothes and hair. But the food is great, they sometimes have live guitar music, and this is a special place to go
We were looking for a quick lunch although we had two hours before our flight. We were seated promptly. The table was place in a high traffic area next to the bar to maximize the number of tables in the restaurant. A very poor customer experience since servers and patrons kept bumping into my chair. The food was average airport food. I would have expected it to be a little better given it was a sports bar with Mr. Caray’s name on it. I had a grilled chicken ceasar wrap with french fries. Again, it was acceptable, but below expectations. The service was poor. We waited for drinks. The food came out at a reasonable time. The server did not check on us. Also, we had to ask someone to provide us with our check.
