If you’re looking for great al fresco seating that makes you forget that you’re in Chicago, look no further. Las Fuentes’ courtyard is one of the biggest outdoor seating spaces in the city and would be great for big groups of people. Murals, fountains, and string lights really make the ambiance of this place. A group of friends and I stopped in last night for margaritas and dinner. While the margs weren’t very strong, they were pretty tasty (we got the mango and strawberry flavors). We ordered a flurry of flautas, tacos, and enchilades for dinner. The flautas were lightly fried, and not too heavy. The tacos were huge, but could have left off the extra tortilla. I think the chicken enchilades with the roja sauce were the best. They were so flavorful, just spicy enough, and had a ton of good quality meat. I would definitely go back when the weather cools off to try some more items on this hefty menu. windycity-wanderlust.blogspot.com
