Visit every time I’m in town!. The coffee! The Frushi! The pancake flight! The eggs! Oh where do I start? I don’t think I have EVER had a bad meal here… once or twice I have been stuck with a less than pleasent server. There is one waitress, brunette with very short hair, who is always friendly and even recognized my husband and I from our last visit which had been 2 months before.Last time I was in my husband and I were traveling with two other couples. Each couple ordered something to split and then we had Frushi and the pancake flight as breakfast appetizers. We discovered this was the best way to try a little bit of everything without breaking the bank or over doing it too much! The food here is so creative (seriously, I mean frushi? sushi made from fruit? how could you not love that?) and always wonderfully prepared. And the servings are generous. The only draw back is that the breakfast items all sound so yummy I’ve never made it to the lunch menu. Maybe someday!
Went there for a father’s day breakfast. Potatoes were awesome! I can skip the orange coffee, too much for us and my eggs had WAY to many leeks. Would still go back for more though!
Best Breakfast Ever!. I was just looking for a nice place to take my mom for Mother’s Day, and boy did I luck out after choosing Orange. We had brunch at the Glenview location, and a couple weeks later I had brunch with my boyfriend to the Roscoe Village location. The orange infused coffee is to die for! Definitely pick that one if you are a coffee drinker, especially since it is the same price as the regular coffee. The orange flavor was distinct, but not overpowering. The fruit juices are so tasty, fresh, and healthy, but there were so many to pick from, it was hard to decide.I had the Orange-Rosemary French toast, which was to die for. 5 huge pieces came in an almond and rosemary sauce, and I didn’t even need syrup! My mom had the omelet with Brie, leek, and bacon and said it was the best omelet she’s ever had. It came with the house potatoes which are formed into a little cube with the skins still on and mixed with a bunch of yummy seasonings. My dad had the Popeye’s breakfast, which he also said was really really good. The orange-rosemary sausages and the chicken apple sausages were amazing as well! The only bad thing I have to say, is that the Glenview location was very disorganized and slow. I realize it was Mother’s Day, but it took our waiter 15 minutes to even acknowledge us after we sat down and then another 15 minutes to bring us coffee. The service at the Roscoe Village location, however, was phenomenal. The food is pricey for brunch, but definitely a place worth treating yourself every once in awhile if you want to experience a unique breakfast.
Love the Fruishi. Great food, Loved the sushi style fruit so worth the money!! However how can a restaurant like this not have real maple syrup. The stuff they gave us just tasted like chemicals!!!
Consistently terrible service; Food just fair; won’t go back.
