I had the dizzying decision of choosing between four swirly flavors: Chocolate Peanut Butter, Pineapple Right Side Up, Mint Chocolate Chip, or the surprise cupcake of the day, Lemon! Awesome banana nutella cupcake. The banana nutella cupcake is the best GF cupcake I’ve ever had. The cupcake is moist and the frosting is very light.
Hit and Miss. Split three different cupcakes, the Red Velvet, the Twixie and Bananas Foster. Red Velvet was dry and a little grainy almost… The twixie was overpowering with cocoa flavor and needed to be toned down. Also the cake was not very moist. The one good cupcake was the Bananas Foster which was basically banana bread in cupcake form. The frosting on it was nice and light and complimented it well without being too sweet.
Pretty Good. I tried the lemon blueberry cupcake and my husband had a vanilla. Don’t get me wrong, the cupcakes were good, the staff friendly, but I think for the price of a cupcake there are others that are better, such as Sweet Mandy B’s.
Feel like a kid again, but with a more sophisticated palette. I accidentally passed by this place, looked in the window, and pleaded with my husband to go in with me. I ordered a Red Velvet cupcake, and I nearly died and went to heaven! We even talked to the owner a bit and she gave us another fresh complimentary cupcake. Since then I’ve been craving those cupcakes like a junkie. My husband brought home a whole dozen for my birthday. It was the best present he gave me.
