This is a quaint place in Lincoln Park that is well worth the stop. I had the breakfast burrito which was so tasty. Nice blend of eggs, cheese, and heat. The house potatoes were very flavorful, too. Great service and great atmosphere.
Just amazing! Reviews from this site and other said it was great but they exceeded our expectations. We sat at the little bar and were waited on and served by one of the owners. She couldn’t have been more pleasant. Very well run restaurant and the food is top notch. The wasabi Bloody Mary mix is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Glorious. That is the word that describes the French Toast. High, high quality ingredients that are well paired and prepared. The restaurant is small and there is always a long wait. So what? The food is that good. If you prefer a savory breakfast, try the Eggs Benedict. This is a real gem in Lincoln Park.
Cute little place with a great breakfast menu! The stuffed french toast is to die for. I tried all three flavors – chocolate, strawberry, and mascarpone. The mascarpone was my favorite; its just the perfect amount of sweetness. Ive also had an egg dish with pesto and prosciutto that was delicious. Their eggs come with a side of toast and there are lots of options to choose from like challah and cinnamon raisin. My only complaint about this place is that it gets a little stuffy and cramped. There is quite a long wait on weekends, but the food is worth it. alliesfashionalley.com
My favorite BRUNCH spot :). I’ve heard many great things about toast when we first moved to Chicago. After months of living in the city my boyfriend and I decided to try it. And now it becomes my new favorite brunch spot in Chicago. The food was excellent. I love the atmosphere. It’s cozy, cute and very warm. I can never decide brunch or lunch when I’m there. And the toast is amazing. Drinks can get a bit pricey.I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone looking for a good brunch in Chicago.
Prepare for an hour wait on the weekend, but its worth the wait! Everything we had at our table was delish! The French toast is VERY rich so split it or share with someone! Don’t waste your time with salads or sandwiches this is a breakfast/ brunch place!
Great crabby eggs benedict. Fast, friendly, and the staff was great with kids.
