Everything but what is in the cup…. 1.) Love the owners.2.) Cute venue with great location.3.)Completely unimpressed with espresso drinks. They are generally: bitter, watery, of inconsistent proportions (though never scalded), and generally lackluster. In sum, they remind me of an off-brand independant airport coffee stand. But let me reiterate, love everything else about the place…it just seems that a coffee shop should be home to fanatic coffee connoisseurs, non?PLEASE GIVE ME A REASON TO RE-REVIEW! I want to love this place so much more!
Cute little shop. Came here on a whim after walking by and I came to the realization I was parched. The door was open and most of the tables and chairs were full of hipstery people chatting and working on laptops. Ordered an iced chai (thank goodness I had some cash on me, unlike the customer after me who had to pay in nickels and dimes) and it was delicious. I liked the music playing and didn’t recognize any of the songs (which I love) and it could have even been a little louder, which is weird because most coffee shops play music too loudly. I didn’t stay too long, but it was a fun few minutes on a hot afternoon with a yummy beverage that didn’t come from chain coffee shop.
Perfect Cup is the kind of neighborhood cafe I enjoy the most; quaint w/comparable prices to any chain coffee joint, low hum of unobtrusive music & free wi-fi (yes, it’s free now). Never mind that the coffee is good but that’s important too. Okay, cash only but I suppose that adds to its charm. Grab a lounge or couch and enjoy.
What year is it?. They don’t take credit cards and you have to pay for wi-fi. It’s a cute shop, but there are several equally cute shops within walking distance that don’t think it’s still 1998.
