Dined on the patio with a group of 3. Super cute outdoor area in Logan Square near the Blue Line. Parking was a breeze nearby! Must order: plantain chips, garlic shrimp. Also loved that while they are a BYOB, they offer Sangria and other mixers for your beverages for $8-10.

We went last night as an alternative to over packed Wicker Park Fest and immediately found free parking in front. They are luckily open later as we arrived at 940. We got a patio seat within 5 minutes. Loved the BYOB concept and we made Moscow Mules with the fresh juicy limes our waiter, Kyle, gave us. They have vegetarian/vegan options including tofu and a soy meat substitute so it worked with with the diverse group. We love the maduros (sweet plaintain) and the empanadas. chiorganicgirls.com

For $22 I get cooked then frozen maduros?. In defense of fairness. If you are looking for a trendy, expensive BYOB cuban place. You’ll probably do just fine here.Your $22 plate of a single oxtail comes with reheated frozen maduros, unpickled raw onions and you have to ask for arroz congr (moro) if you don’t want a soupy plate of rice and beans cooked separately. If you’re a fan of Cuban food, go elsewhere. If you want cuban ‘themed’ food, cuban stereotypes like scarface playing on the wall on repeat and you don’t mind paying 500% markup. You’ll love it.

Not recommended!. I enjoyed the layout of the restaurant as well as the atmosphere but the food was simply not worth it. The portions were larger than I expected but the flavor was just not there and rather bland. I would not recommend!

Good quality authentic Cuban food in Chicago. Asked for picadollo (not on the menu) and they had it. Mariquitas, cubano, bistec, cafe con leche – all excellent. Great service and great outdoor seating.

Great all-around!. Super friendly staff, fun ambience, very good food, incredibly low prices, BYOB, and the energy! I haven’t been this delighted in a long time! It might also be because I spent way so much more at Boka last weekend and had my high expectations dashed with the mediocre food in small portions. 90 Miles is unpretentious and fun. What a nice touch to bring over fa ree pitcher of slliced oranges and soda in ice- which we promptly used to make sangria with the Malbec that we brought. I shall return again and again!
