This may be heresy, as Portillo’s seems to be legend, but this place was a disappointment. On the bright side, it’s open late. On the downside, the noise and press are extreme, and the food is mediocre, at best. If you are out late and trashed you may not mind the former or notice the latter. Otherwise pick someplace else.

Such bad service I have not experienced in a long time. Just got a delivery order from them the streak fajita was missing the tortias and we were also missing a side order of rise and chips and salsa. I called them they said I would have to pay 11.50 to get the rest of my food. I asked why would I have to pay again for something I already paid for, I got hung up on. then they would not pick up the phone. I called from a different number and asked for the manager and was told that there wasn’t one there, and got hung-up on. Horrible.
Every time I ate here it was late night and i had been drinking. Loved the food. Decided to go for lunch (sober) and was not disappointed. Loved it. The service is hit or miss depending on which waitress you get but all in all the place is awesome.
I would say that had I been paying for this meal I would have opted to try the place next door. While the food was filling the flavor was pretty much missing. Instead of having the bright flavors of Mexican food it has the flavors of having given up. Save your money for Taco Bell.
Drunk or sober, you won’t be let down!. Arturo’s makes me happy. I love their tacos and horchatas and the murals on their walls. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner or a late-late-night snack. Drinks are cheap, and monstrous, too.
