Walked past this place and had to double back. Dark in and outside. Fam are having a rest so Id thought Id duck out for a quiet on.Chose Papa dont Peach. Which is oat whiskey , smoked peaches , lemon armatique, egg white and fig wood. Looks like a cappacino tastes a peach! Not too quick with the drink though.Nice vibe for conversations with Jazz classics by Sanatra and Buble swirl round the room.
Bartender’s are extremely friendly & helpful,.The Tonics are simply amazing. Wish they were available to go.Ask the friendly bartenders about Fernet and you will get an education. Favorite drinks ;Nevada, Don’t Speak and old fashion . instagram.com
Sconces on the wall, Victorian framed black and white portraits and some really good drinks made by expert mixologists make Billy Sunday justifiably a Logan Square spot du jour.I’ll be back for more whiskey cocktails on tap, sparkling and oh so delicious!!
It’s hard to rate a place where it’s been a fantastic experience every time. Their cocktails are not for the faint hearted, and that’s ok, to me the weirder the better. The draft cocktails are like nothing else in the city, come and drink all four of them. The Aquinas is to me the best carbonated boozy drink around, and i looked around. The food does not fall short to it’s big brother up the street, yusho. Same quality, different focus. Overall, the best bar in the city in my opinion.
This place has impeccable service & cocktails. If you don’t know which to pick just explain to the bartender exactly what you’re looking for & they will gladly supply you with exactly that. They’re small menu of food is also worth checking out. The pot pie is so unique and can easily feed AT LEAST 2 people.
Creativity never tasted so good!. Enjoyed the creative menu complimented by fresh, original libations! The service was outstanding as well. Will definitely go back.
An inventive and delicious menu. Great staff and fun bar. The peanut butter donuts with peanut brittle and Hoar’s Frost cocktail were excellent!
