This is probably my favorite birria spot in the city. As we all know, birria is a hangover cure, so the fact that they are byob and have a liquor store next door so you can make your own micheladas is a big plus. The place itself is pretty small, so avoid going during peak hours, or you’ll find yourself waiting up to an hour. Their menu is simple. Birria is obviously the staple, but what will change your life is the cabeza tacos. It’s a mixture of tounge, cheek, lip, brain and neck meat, hence the name cabeza, or head. They are insanely good! The consome is rich enough to carry the birria tacos, but it’s not so heavy that it could be a meal on it’s own, which is what i found is the case in most places. Come here, bring some modelos, cure your hangover and be happy!! love this place.
