One of the coolest places in Chicago, Ipsento is ideal for someone looking to grab a coffee or cocktail with friends. At the register, ask about the mini donuts. Yes, they taste as good, if not better, than normal sized donuts.
The best hot dog I ever had. Very busy but it was worth it. My wife and I both got a Chicago dog and split a Italian beef sandwich. We both though it was the best hot dog ever. She liked the Italian sandwich I though it was just ok.
Ipsento is a lovely option for a weekend coffee stop. I can’t speak to how it is on the weekdays, but if it’s anything like it was the Saturday morning we went, I would not choose this place on my before work stop. It was packed! And… it’s small. That’s fine for in-and-out, but you have to stand around and wait for your drink, and it’s very awkward because no place is a good place. What IS good is their signature drink, the Ipsento latte, which comes with coconut milk, honey, and cayenne. WOW. It was decadent, and so, so good. The sandwiches were good as well, but since they don’t have a kitchen, it took a long time to receive them and again, we felt very awkward standing, then moving out of the way, then standing, then moving out of the way… constantly. Will return for a latte.
My favorite coffee shop in the city! They roast their own beans and brew each cup with care however you like. Want something outside the box? The Ipsento Latte with honey and cayenne is a real treat. Can’t go wrong with a Nutella Latte either. The digs are cozy and quaint, but seating is in hot demand and limited during peak hours. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with your order. The signature Ipsento latte, made with coconut milk, honey and cayenne, is a delicious treat.Into coffee rather than espresso drinks? Ipsento sources and roasts its own beans. While a menu with flavor profiles is available, the baristas also give great recommendations according to your preferences.
Cute Little Coffee Shop. Amazing Nutella Mocha… delicious breakfast sandwiches. Prices are a bit above average, but worth it for the fresh ingredients and homey vibe.
