Your typical Chinese joint, nothing out of the ordinary. They’ve never been shut down, so thats good. The food is good, I’ve had it both delivered and in house and like I said, not amazing. I do like the fact that they don’t use those tiny almost-fake shrimps for their fried-rice, they use regular sized shrimps, which is great. Not disappointed, but not raving about it.
My favorite Chinese in the city!. I’ve had tons of fried rice from a hundred chinese places and Lee’s has my absolute favorite. No matter what meat you get in it, it’s always delicious. My favorite is the barbecue pork . The rice is never over or undercooked. I crave this fried rice! I also absolutely love their orange chicken. It’s not too spicy, not too sweet. Perfect amount of glze, and never too fatty. It’s good hearty chunks that go perfectly with the fried rice. Most people get delivery and don’t even know that the dining room is actually kinda nice, for what appears to be a divy Chinese place from the outside. Nice large wooden tables and chinese decor. Be prepared to be the only ones dining in the restaurant though! Our waiters always seem slightly unsure, like they’re new to waiting tables (probably because people rarely dine in! haha) but the service is very attentive and sweet and they make sure you’re happy. The portions when you dine in area also humongous! We’ve gotten a doggie bag and I don’t even think they put all our leftovers in the containers afterward because there was so much. I could be wrong though. The delivery has always been super fast, but I could be biased because we live close by.
This place is a takeout staple for my husband and I. We dismissed Lee’s at first because of its shabby exterior, but I’m glad we finally tried it a couple years ago. We’ve never been disappointed and the egg rolls are delicious.
