Gret spot if you need to get some work done, or just feel the need to get some awesome, unpretentious coffee around Logan Square. The place is huge, but it seems like it’s always busy. They also have a cute little patio that faces the boulevard, so definitely go sit out there and think about your life choices.
Great cafe to for a quick coffee and pastry or to just chill and hang out. Super friendly staff, their pastries are drool worthy, lots of vegan and gluten free options, awesome decor and the best iced coffee I’ve had in a while. Love New Wave!

Big fan of this place…. The wifi rules, the sandwiches are fantastic and they have tons of vegan stuff for my wife. I was talking to somebody that works there and they said their menu is at this point about a 50/50 split between vegan items and items with bacon in them. They brew Intelligensia coffee and generally have a light and dark roast available and for those times you aren’t in the mood for coffee, their tea selection is really strong too (try the rose petal green tea).
