Portillos is a definite stop on any trip to Chicago. But a must for a fantastic meal to include the combo sandwich and onion rings for me and hot dogs and fries for the rest, to include the chocolate cake shake for be of us! Highly recommended!! Great atmosphere and better food!
Decoration wise, it reminded me a lot of british pubs! The crispness of the fried fish was at perfection and the tuna sandwich was really good as well, although a bit salty. A place to come back!
Went here on a Tuesday: $16 for a burger, fries, shot of bourbon, & a full pint of their choice. The burger/fries is normally $15 alone. WITH THAT BEING SAID…the burger is fantastic. As are the fries. It’s a great place to go on a date too. The scotch egg is an absolute must as well.

Full English Fried Breakfast. $8 overpriced! About the worst example I have come across in Chicago, not only in terms of price but also quality of products used and portion size.
Yummy Brunch. Cozy space, good coffee and food. Fun to sit a while and enjoy.
