My wife and I went to Paladar from dinner last week. I had goat! My wife had the chicken. Both were great. they have a good selection of rum from all over the Carribean. I had one from Guyana. Good stuff. We’ll go back. the owner stopped and chatted with us-very friendly guy.
Gr8 Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar with A+++ service, drinks, and FOOD!!! Oxtails and Stuffed Shrimp App are a must!!!. Great Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar Goodness!!!By far the most amazing Oxtails I’ve ever had!!! This place gets an A+++ for service, drinks and most of all FOOD!!! The owner Jose is very attentive, personable, and takes care of his regular customers whether that mean a round of rum shots or a free app. If you come on a weekend, you’ll be welcomed with open arms by the warm and fun host Mycol who along with the awesome waitstaff(our personal favorite is Casie) will ensure that your dining/cocktail experience is perfect. Most definitely try the stuffed shrimp appetizer!!! Its 5 humungous jumbo shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped with ham an outer shell of bacon then deep fried to crispy salty perfection, mmmmmmmm. The Chivo(Goat Stew), Ropa Vieja, and the Roasted Pork are all very delicious and extremely noteworthy, but in my opinion The Best Thing on the Menu as previously mentioned are the Oxtails which I would put in my top 5 dishes ever eaten!!!! The coconut mojito pitchers are phenominal and the rum list is loaded with all the must haves and some you never knew you needed to try 😉 My Fiancee and I plan on being weekly regulars
