Beautiful Date Night Restaurant. The night couldn’t be perfect for this date. I had the Pollo a la brasa which by the was was tender and the meat fell of the bone. Loved it. The staff was courteous and friendly. The place itself has beautiful seating and nice decor all around. Such a nice Peruvian Restaurant. Will definately dine here again.24 Aug, 2011Pollo A La Brasa & Pisco Sour. The Pollo A La Brasa was nicely seasoned., I just loved when the meat fell of the bone. I also had the Pisco Sour drink in Passion Fruit and it was so flavorful.
Best Peruvian Cuisine. The ambiane is wonderful, great music & the decor is absolutely outstanding. Am salivating now just thinking about how flavorful the Ceviche was. I am always eager to taste other types of foods., I couldn’t have made a better choice that night. Strongly recommend this place.
Great. This a wonderful Peruvian restaurant, by far the best in Chicago, having worked in Lima, Peru at a 5 star hotel for 4 years, Rio’s brought back memories. Beautiful restaurant friendly Peruvian staff and very helpful on decision making time, Authentic food and a lot of yummie choices….I thank the Peruvian consulates office for reccomending this place, I tried others in the city they were ok but Rio’s blows them out the water. great south american wine selection, Piscos..oh and try the Cuzquena beer awesome, the Ceviches are the best they have like 4 choices we had them all 🙂 Im glad we went, all my guest love it….
It was hard to give this place a thumbs down because they have great drinks and the dining room is very romantic. I was disappointed wi th the food and our server seemed very unfamiliar with serving. I iffy give them another chance but the muscles were totally fishy and overcooked and that was a big turn off.
Delicious Ceviche. We had the Rio’s style fish ceviche as an appetizer and then I had the rice with seafood and my husband had the skirt steak. Everything was very tasty and fresh and the portions were indeed huge. Watch out for that harmless looking green sauce they bring out at the beginning that stuff is spicy!!!!
Mug sabroso! Wow great food fun atmosphere surprisingly we saw kids little ones there and the wait staff was very attentive to them and the place is a disco Latin after hours! Very cool
Amazing…. The appetizer that we ordered, Papa a La Huancaina, was just amazing! My girlfriend and her friend both ordered vegetarian platters and both didn’t finish them because they had such big portions! Becca’s boyfriend and I ordered a seafood and a meat dish respectively. I have to say that our dishes were out of this world and unlike anything I have ever tried before!! They had such a polite waitstaff and cheap prices. Oh! One more thing, if you have friends that are unfamiliar with Chicago, give them precise directions. Our suburban friends (for whatever reason) had a hard time finding this place. Go figure!14 Nov, 2007This place is amazing!. WOW. Thats all I have to say. The restaurant was beautiful. I had such a great time on Saturday night and the food was unlike anything Ive ever had before. My steak was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. Thanks Rios!!
