I really really enjoyed this place. The wife and I stopped in on a Friday night after Parson’s Chicken and Fish had a 2 hour wait for their patio. That’s ridiculous but anyway. We got seated right away and from the start our service was spot on. The decor makes you think of a German beer hall but with a more sophisticated vibe. It’s loud but you can still hold a conversation. The first thing I loved about the menu was the beer list. They have an extensive selection of draft beers focused on German varieties like hefeweizen and maibocks. They even have the giant 1 liter beers for about $11 so of course that’s what I got. The food, like the decor, are all modern interpretations of classic german food. We got a german pretzel which according to my wife was better than any pretzel except for one we had in Germany. I got the schnitzel and I’ve had a thousand schnitzels but I’ve never had one like this one. It came with blueberry mustard. That’s right, blueberry mustard and I ate all of it. The wife got the knackwurst with zucchini noodles and that was awesome as well. The thing about the Radler is that you definitely feel like you get value for what you order. With the schnitzel you get two pretty nice sized cutlets and two big links with the knackwurst. If you love beer and food you can’t go wrong with the Radler. euroatheart.com
