What better way to spend a cold Monday arvo then in front of a hot bowl of ramen. Service at Ajida was attentive, whilst I was the only patron there were a few walk in for take away. Ramen itself was lovely. Served with crumbed prawns which I found qute oily. Presentation impressive.

Japanese to end 2015 Lunch adventures.Ramen is a Japanesenoodle soupdish. It consists of Chinese-style wheat noodlesserved in a meat- or (occasionally) fish-basedbroth, often flavored withsoy sauceormiso, and uses toppings such as slicedpork (chsh?), driedseaweed(nori),kamaboko, andgreen onions. Nearly every region in Japan has its own variation of ramen, from thetonkotsu(pork bone broth) ramen ofKyushuto themisoramen ofHokkaido.Order was Shiromaru Hakata Classic Ramenwhich is tonkotsu pork broth with noodles, topped with kikurage mushrooms, menma (Menma is a Japanese condiment made from lactate-fermented bamboo shoots), red pickled ginger, scallions, soft boiled egg and naruto. Choice of meat was beef. Good Service, Quantity can be improved.*Narutomaki or naruto is a type of kamaboko, or cured fish surimi produced in Japan. Each slice of naruto has a pink or red spiral pattern, which resembles the Naruto whirlpools in the Naruto Strait between Awaji Island and Shikoku in Japan.
