Uninspiring decor, but decent salad bar. Alonti is primarily a catering service for the office blocks that sprout up in the South Loop, but it also has a sideline in breakfasts, sandwiches and a salad bar. Eating in is a little depressing – as the cafe feels like it is in Turkish baths that has seem better days (the entire room is swathed in white bath tile). However, the salad bar has good selections and there is a busy flow of traders from the nearby Chicago Board of Trade.
