One can do some grocery shopping here but I came twice to pick up a quick bite (once lunch and once breakfast) and found it more than acceptable. The lunch choices were more plentiful than breakfast, and there are tables outside if so inclined.
Great variety for a downtown grocers/deli. Everything clean and organized. The staff was very friendly. Even has several tables to eat at.
We were staying at the Resident Inn River North and our suite had a full kitchen. Bockwinkel’s was only a 10 minute walk. Great selection of meats, produce, deli, etc. We found the prices to be extremely reasonable for it being right downtown.
Great little market around the swissotel and the Hyatt in the middle of Chicago. Hot bar and salad bar.
Staying at Hyatt Regency across the street and stopped in to pick up a few things. Really good selection, prices were fine I guess.
