While challenging to find, every step was worth it! The table side Cocktail cart was entertaining, and all cocktails well crafted. Our party started with oysters and beef tartare, which was the best Ive ever tried. For our entree we had Chateaubriand, Pork, and Duck and all were wonderful as we split side of mashed potatoes. Caesar salad also very well made. And dessert was the dark chocolate crepe brle: UNBELIEVABLY GOOD.

We explored the place… the Chicago Athletic Hotel is a great back drop and the history of the building complete with the prohibition stories were both informative and entertaining. Getting to the Cherry Circle Room may challenge your navigation skills especially if you stopped by the Game Room and Cindy’s rooftop. Our waiter was excellent!! We enjoyed the drink menu… its very well represented. We had the Axe Prime Rib Steak for 4 and it was very good. Our sides were onion rings, creamed kale, roast garlic mashed potatoes, and brussel sprout slaw. The price is on par with Chicago so expect $$$. You have my recommendation on this place!!
What a stellar fine dining experience! I went on a Tuesday night with a group of coworkers around 6, and the place filled up pretty quickly after we arrived. The menu boasts a wide array of classic American dishes – offering small and large plates. I really enjoyed the natural aged lacquered duck because it was really tender – and paired with a savory side or rice. The service was amazing, and what was particularly nice was someone came by to change the plates and set the silverware between every course. It’s safe to say my coworkers and I all left that dinner very impressed and satisfied.
Your very own cocktail cart comes to you tableside. Very knowledgeable staff. Food full of flavor. I highly recommend the mashed potatoes, these potatoes are magic. Trust me. Oh, and any place that makes my eating a rare steak a pleasure, they are definitely doing meat right! noshandohmygosh.blogspot.com
