Friendly people but food was fair. We were a party of five and they forgot one of our party’s order. He had to wait while we ate lest our food go cold. Each time the door opened a blast of air cooled the small place. The trio of filets were disappointing with three flat ovals of meat that looked more like cube steak than filet and well done. A rip off at $35. Cool bar but I wouldn’t anything more expensive than pub food, salads and drinks.
Yum! This place has the quality and selection of an upscale steakhouse in a way more casual environment. I had a filet and my husband had the lamb shank and both were delicious. My steak was slightly more medium than medium rare, but that may have been my fault as I changed my mind to medium rare during someone else’s order. Good cocktails and appetizers (we definitely had to try the poutine). We will be back here for sure. It isn’t a cheap night out once you add everything up, but it was worth it for the quality and service.
