Typical airport restaurant – slow service, but Harry’s had the shortest wait line I have found at Mid-way for lunch. I skipped the table line and went straight for the bar. Ordered the Holy Cow burger. The burger was the messiest lunch I have ever had at an airport. The onions and mushroom ooozed off the burger. I asked for a wet napkin – only to be told that that is something they do not provide. The beer was cold. Would I go back – probably – but I would not order such a messy lunch. The restaurant was clean and had some very cool photos.
Excellent burger. Beef w bacon and Havarti cheese. A great complement was an order of sweet potato waffle fries. Food cam out hot and fresh. Great place to grab a bite while out and about in the loop.
Love everything about this place. Great atmosphere. The burgers are out of this world. I was in Chicago for a week and came here several times. My favourite was the turkey burger with a fried egg. The bun was good, the fries were good… no complaints! Also love that all of the meat is natural, no hormones or antibiotics. Wish there was one where I live!
Tasty burgers with a nice selection of toppings. I like that you can go bunless as well. Grilled onions, bacon, and fried eggs are my go-to, with cheddar cheese on the days I feel like a bit extra. Outdoor seating in a busy, people-watching location. 50statesofwine.com
Just wanted you to know we tried 2 locations of Epic Burger while in Chicago late last week. They were absolutely delicious-our group had the beef singles and doubles, the chicken breast, a grilled cheese and a double turkey burger…all exceptional! The fries- simply the best- i am a yelper so i will post there too but wanted to beg you to bring Epic Burger to the Austin, Texas !!!Pronto!!!!!!!…. the flat top is your differentiator..not sure how I will manage between visits.The customer service at this location was not quite as good as our first experience but it is a larger location and it was prime lunch time-food delivered quickly considering its cooked to order, the young man who brought my food got slightly agitated as i didn’t readily identify it. It was not major, i was just taken off guard.
Great burger place!. The atmosphere, the food and the music was all really great! All about food and simple ingredients! Definitely would go back.
