An authentic Italian restaurant. I saw less vegetarian options in the menu, my table attender suggested the items to choose & infact he made a food with no meat. Satisfied with quantity & quality.
Was expecting a lot more for the price. Food was decent but not great. Service was horrible. Saw waitress only 2x. Once to take my order and 2nd to bring food and check. Not a relaxing breakfast.
One of the best Italian restaurant.Perfect Pizza with good quantity of toppings.Perfectly cooked.Beautiful ambience and a warm hospitality.Open till late night.Good that other restaurants were closed.Else would have missed this gem of a restaurant.A must must visit place in Downtown Chicago.
I have been going to this restaraunt for over 40 years. We had a nice meal. I had the Chickent Rotolini, my wife and son and Chickent Fettucini Alfredo. We had wonderful fresh salads. My Chicken Rotolini was good, the chicken was a little dry. My wife who has a heart condition asked the waitress if she could have an unseasoned chicken breast, which they did, they then made sure she had unsalted pasta and made a alfredo sauce with out salt. It was bland and boring but exactly what she needed and asked for. The waitress was not 100% sure what they could do but she communicated with the chef and they provided a great meal for her.
Fred was filling in at the bar, pours a mean Manhattan. I really only went to the bar… Twice in the same day. Epic both times. Got sangria the second time and it was like little mouth elves dancing on my taste buds with every sip.
Upstairs lunch was bad yesterday. Pappardelle sauce was tasteless, had no seasoning, instead of ground beef it had a few specks of shredded beef, dry, dish had a fishy taste, order of sausage was packed hard and dry, tasteless, overcooked.
Would not recommend. My party and I waited for over an hour to be seated. When we seated, took another 20 min to get our order in. When we finally revived our food, it was cooked with spoiled indignants. The other dishes were very plain with no flavor. Not worth the money our the wait
