Stopped in for a later dinner when we were just sort of hungry. Decided to let the server (Jerry) bring tapas/small plates based solely on his recommendations. We ended up with 6 entrees, all excellent, including the winners (scallops, shrimp, mushrooms) along with croquetes, chorizo and almendras. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Service was efficient and solid. Would definitely return.

Really off menu, heavily weighted to sea food and odd combinations. Nobody was sure what to order or even what they ordered. Staff was pleasant and attentive though.

Went for a work dinner…awesome service. I asked our server for recs and he offered his version of the chef special…12 awesome tapas that really filled us up! Great pace for the food. The favorites were the mushrooms, green salad and bacon wrapped dates. He compted our dessert and brought out sparkling wine. It was fantastic. Pricy, but great experience!!

Food: A-Service: A-Atmosphere: A-Terrific restaurant that Iron Chef Jose Garces started years ago. The new chef, however, continues to do outstanding work. The boquerones (white anchovies) are excellent as are the pimientos de Padron (fried Padron peppers). Really liked the grilled mushrooms and all their grilled fish and shell fish. The desserts–Arroz con leche croquette (fried rice pudding balls with lemon and saffron custard cream) and crema Catalana (their version of creme brle with almond ice cream)–were delicious. Highly recommended.

To be honest, I’m from rural Tennessee and I’ve only had tapas one other time. The waiter was a little snooty and I think he just decided that we were hopeless when we sat down so he proceeded to ignore us most of the night. I spent half an hour with an empty wine glass – never saw our waiter in that time – before I finally asked another waiter for a refill that I never got. The menu at the last tapas restaurant was a little more user friendly. This place uses a lot of lingo and, with little help from the wait staff, I wound up feeling more than a little unwelcome. Once we got food, it was both beautiful and delicious but my husband and I agreed that as an overall experience, it’s not something we’re interested in revisiting especially given the $98 bill.

Mostly for out-of-towners staying at nearby hotels, this place does have good service, nice ambiance, and pretty good food. Not great food, but tasty and enjoyable. We followed the recommendation of 3 plates per person and were stuffed. I especially liked the cauliflower and the traditional peppers. Don’t waste your time on the flatbread.

Had a lunch here before heading into Lolla. The flavored are spot on for an iron chefs Restaraunt and the drinks were tasty. Had the mini pizzas and a date and mixed green salad. Very well balanced.
