This is the kind of resturaunt your wife will always be happy to go to. It is quiet with a pleasant buzz of happy customers. The staff is competent without being cutesy. The food is very good, way above what youd expect from a place directly below the Chicago Bean.

Solid dinner! Decent wine list. Service was a bit slow. Outside patio can be very nice when the weather is nice. Appetizers and entrees were well prepared with above average flavor. The location next to the park is the best feature.

Was here for lunch today. Very classy ambience but the service was poor. We had – Crab Cakes – very good. Yum! Fish and Chips – too oily. Steak and Fries – okayish. Pretty expensive. Okay for trying once. Happy Dining! 🙂

Loved the food here! After a long walk along the lakefront from navy pier to millennium park, I was famished! The was tasty, filling and really good. I had pork chops and orange chocolate crme brul. The service was also very good. Enjoyed my lunch there!

Worst Ever!. Every year our company hosts a customer appreciation dinner in conjunction with an industry conference. This year It was our unfortunate mistake to believe that the Park Grill would be a good venue to host a dinner for 120 customers. Everyone arrived at 7:30 pm, the agreed upon time. Early arrival by our staff insured that the room was set up and ready to go. We all sat down for dinner and waited… and waited… and waited. Repeated pleas to the manager were useless. I believe he began hiding from us because eventually he couldn’t be found at all. Salads finally showed up at 8:30, and some of the group did not get their entree until 9:30. The food was poor, the chicken still red on the inside, and the steaks all rare. Most of our customers left without dessert, with half their meal uneaten. Had it not been for the open bar, and ‘Born Sisters’, our excellent entertainment, the whole evening would have been a disaster. The insult to injury was park Grill’s refusal to admit their dismal, incompetent and completely uncaring performance, and present us with a bill for over $18,000. I honestly have never seen a worse performance by ANY restaurant, and suspect that the only reason they are still in business is their location. If you happen to be walking by and are in the mood for poor food and poor service, this is just what you need. If you need to host a business meal however, save yourself!

Went this afternoon just for a drink. Approached the hostess podium with 4 hostesses standing behind it. We felt as if we were interrupting their conversations as we had to ask for a table without being greeted by any of them. One then told us that we could seat ourselves to the right by the bar. We walked around the right side and could not find an open seat. We then had to go back and ask to be seated. The hostess looked annoyed and seated us in a corner not saying much at all. Service from there was slow and unremarkable and the drinks were alright. Overall the initial service ruined the entire experience. We watched as everyone approaching the restaurant received the same poor service for the hostesses as if the customers were inconveniencing their conversations.
