Pastoral is dangerous…wine, cheese, bread, chocolate, olives, and meat?! This place is a foodie’s dream-come-true. The pimento sandwich especially is a must order!

Pastoral is a little heaven for cheese lover. It is an artisan market with local and imported food. You can order sandwiches or create your own. All of them are made on the spot and they are delicious. Great sport for a tasty quick lunch

Freshest Sandwiches. I got the veggie sandwiches for lunch; nice that you can choose the style of bread and also the toppings. This was one of the freshest-tasting sandwiches I’ve ever had. 50statesofwine.com

Very cheesy. I stopped by Pastoral for lunch, based on reviews here and on Yelp. I ordered the Grant Park Grinder. The cheese really overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Without the cheese, it would have tasted delicious because the ingredients were fresh. I suppose that’s what I should expect from a cheese and bread shop. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The sidewalk tables make for great people-watching. If you enjoy cheese, this is the place for you. If you prefer simple sandwiches where the cheese isn’t a staple, I’d look elsewhere.
