Had the crab cake appetizer. It was delicious. Followed up by the bacon scallops, which were amazing! Would definitely recommend.Service was good, very polite and helpful.
AMAZING TASTE !!!…and DONT miss to order the Dessert 🙂 We reached just before the lunch prime time. Glad we did that 🙂 I liked the ambience and staff service. Very courteous ! We ordered…Penne pastaRiccotta & spinach gnocci and Bruscheta… i have to say that all the details and modifications that we requested for, was perfectly taken care of !!!With govt offices nearby… it seems this place attracts many lawyers.. judges… and so on. I would make sure to be there a little earlier before crowds starts pulling in. Its jam packed afterwards. Ratings : Food: 4.5/5 Staff Courtesy: 5/5Ambience: 4/5
Impressive food, fast and efficient service. We had great food with a friendly, knowedgeable, and attentive staff. The tomato bisque was wonderful, and there was a real nice selection of breads. Those who got salads enjoyed them. I recommend the housemade gnochi with vodka sauce. One member of our party said the fillet mignon was the be he had ever had. The peppermint ice cream and chocolate mousse cake were also big hits. The wine list was short, but had quality selections. Restaurant wine prices are always over-inflated, and this was no exception–but not overly so for the Theatre District. Our reservation was for 7:30 on Friday evening, and about 15 minutes later the place emptied out completely as people left for shows. So if you are not going to the theatre, time it so you have the staff all to yourselves. The staff had time to serve us properly without getting pulled in all directions. (I think that may also account for some differences in the reviews.) Alltogether, a very pleasant and delicious experience.
Had lunch here because it is conveniently located across the street from the Daley center. The atmosphere is great especially the outdoor seating. The food was underwhelming but nothing to really complain about. I will give this place another shot.
Unimpressed. Had dinner with my family here and none of us are in a hurry to return. Service was decent, had to ask for items more than once (and it wasn’t that busy, as we had a 3:30 dinner reservation). I had the price-fixe meal: midwest corn chowder (just ok), chicken pot pie (DELICIOUS!), and the chocolate cake (should have gone with the peppermint ice cream as recommended, that was good). The steaks are all a la carte and barely had any sauce/mushrooms. All in all, it was an underwhelming experience.
Service is poor food is okay and customers are rude. I had to as 3 times for a to go box and then half of my lunch was left behind that I paid for.
Food is very good; prices are reasonable; the service is superb. The salmon was outstanding, and the whipped butternut squash was a treat. The service was off the charts. If you’d like a waiter who will engage in interesting conversation (at your discretion), ask for Danny.
