Immediately upon entering, you will feel like you walked into a time warp. The decor is all historical Chicago theme, and has some real items from the original Arena. Order the original Portillo’s hot dog, you won’t be disappointed!
Lunch with colleagues…The California – half-pound certified angus beef burger, topped with grilled portabella mushrooms, provolone cheese, avocado and chipotle mayonnaise served with lettuce and pickle garnish. Came with a complimentary cup of wild rice chicken soup, and I opted for fresh fruit salad.
Monte Cristo was excellent. Real French bread and off-the-bone ham. Enough said. Good prices.
