This is a go-to lunch spot for the folks in our office but try to show up early, cause theres usually a line shortly after 12:30.The pork and chicken tamales are my favorite, and the $7.95 Tamale Dinner- featuring three flavorful tamales, rice and a smattering of beans- makes for a perfect lunch portion. Wash it down with a Mexican Coke, and youre out of there for a $10 bill.Tacos ($2.50) are also popular with our crowd, including the smoky grilled fish tacos, the tender al pastor and the spicy chorizo the hand-pressed corn tortillas are rustic and great vehicles for the proteins, whether you drench them in mole or the spicy green tomatillo sauces.And dont forget about the breakfast offerings; scrambled eggs with tomatoes, onions and peppers are only $5.50, and you can upgrade to a chorizo scramble for only $1 more. All their breakfast tortas are $5, and feature simple eggs and bacon, green peppers and eggs, and a chorizo and egg scramble.
Yum!. This was deffinatly a favorite. The food was great and so was the service. comfy atmosphere. the only thing was that they didnt have soda fountains or even ice for the water they served. This was minor though when the food arrived and was so great.
