Oh so special. 02.17.09–The LITL crew went right down the street (worked out, because it was quite frigid) to Specialtys Cafe & Bakery for lunch. While we have actually been here before, this was the first time we had been there to critique and review the establishment. The entire group was very happy with everything…friendly service, nice menu options, and a pleasant environment all contributed. My vegetarian associate got a veggie sammich, and noted that all the ingredients were very fresh. Another looper tried the salad, and did not seem to have any complaints. It should be noted that while there are lots of options, if you don’t like any of them, you can also create your own. Another looper did just that, and was quite happy with her creation. All in all, a fine establishment…and the baked goods are worth trying too. If you have never been, I would say visit for sure. 4 Stars.
