Visited here on a last Monday evening. Was able to get a table straight away and we sat outside on the patio area which was nice as we could watch the hustle and bustle of Chicago. The burgers were great and the portion sizes were ample. The restaurant was not too busy so the service was efficient. We would return and I recommend this restaurant.
Sweetwater is your typical downtown Chicago trendy restaurant. A lot of the items on the menu are hit-and- miss. So pretty much flip a coin if you can’t make a decision on something on the menu. Most of the food is solid. Their sandwiches are all pretty good and appetizers are spot-on but some of the entrees aren’t that great. The couple times I’ve been here the service has been slow… granted it was busy every time but they could step their game up a little bit. The prices are decent in the area and it’s a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat or go out for dinner with some family or friends.
