Food was alright. Service was incredibly slow and the restaurant was not busy. I had to get our drinks ( water and soft drinks) myself from the bar. The waitress, although polite, kept calling us ladies and I was with my SON. Would not go back.
Great location across from Millennium park. Ample outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Food was solid. We didnt get any drinks. Quiet intimate atmosphere.
Its a nice place for lunch very classy – I also like having drinks in the summer on their second floor terrace – it has great views of Millennium Park as well as the traffic on Randolph street.
I ate here while waiting out a flight delay at Midway last week. The food isn’t outstanding (I had a Smokehouse Burger with fries, although my travel partner got his burger with the house chips and the chips? They were amazing! So take note people: get. the. chips!), but it’s pretty good for an airport. It’s really the only place to get sit-down service at Midway, though. The four star review is really more about the service here. Everyone, from the hostess, to the food runner, to our waitress was beyond friendly, and I can’t say enough about our waitress! I’ve waited tables, so I know how hard she was working to make it look like she wasn’t working hard. I was impressed, and thankful, that I didn’t have to try to catch her for a refill, or for the check, or anything else. It was the nicest dining experience I’ve had in an airport. Ever. And I’ll go back, just for that! (And next time, I’m getting the chips!!)
Excellent (albeit over priced) food, TERRIBLE service. We waited over 45 minutes for water! And took another 10 to even get a menu. The drinks were just alright. Overall, good food but overpriced. And I hope you never get the server we had
Get to the roof if you can. If not, the tables in the bar area are great as well. My steak was perfect and the staff were wonderful. Our waitperson Angelina was helpful, made great recommendations and hustled around the deck all night. I’ll be back on next trip.
Went there on Friday and had to wait about 20 mins. Not great as I first thought. Too lots of chips. Steak is great but rib burger is just fine.
