We dine here at least every six to eight weeks and we’ve always found Terzo Piano to be a great place to eat while getting culture’fied at the Art Institute of Chicago.Craft cocktails – including our recent Chocolate Martini and Old Fashioned – featured heavy pours for just $13.Pay attention to the daily specials, usually based on seasonal veggies and proteins. The appetizers are ample, with plenty to sample for two or three guests – try to Smoke Whitefish with Celery and Green Grapes ($13), if available.The cracker crust pizzas ($18) are just amazing, and certainly enough for two people – the Seasonal Mushroom pie is our go-to favorite with taleggio, mozzarella, parmesan, spinach and truffle oil.
