the smokey salmon that they use in the philly is from a can all of their fish like meats come from a can i ordered from their today for lunch spent 20$ on 2 philly rolls and FAKE miso soup with no tofu and this company is awful please ask for health department information before ordering or you will get sick this is back door sushi place very very low grade and they lie about refunding you your money when you return food this place is A HEALTH HAZARD PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT im an honest reviewer and this place has tarnished my taste for sushi for a while and im from los angeles california i love sushi BUT I HATE TOKYO LUNCH BOX biggest disappointment ever
Tried the bento box beef teriyaki for lunch today. It came with a miso soup as well.Bentobox had 2 maki rolls (Shrimp)Food was OK, but there was bit of sesame seed overload over the beef teriyaki
Good udon soup and eel. Stumbled on this little place today after very long day and no food. The udon seafood soup was nice and the eel was pretty good too. Could beat the price.
Grocery store quality sushi for restaurant prices. Not a good combo.
Konnichiwa!. 09.30.08 – Lunch in the loopers here. Last week, we visited Tokyo Lunch Box (Madison & Wells location), a Japanese eatery, specializing in ready-to-go sushi for customers on a tight schedule. None of us actually sampled the sushi, as there were plenty of other Japanese delicacies from which to choose. The Udon noodles were delicious and piping hot, as were the vegetable rice soup and beef teriyaki. It was an efficient establishment where the cashier successfully, yet perhaps overbearingly to some, directed the foot traffic. The wooden tables & low-back chairs made us feel like we were in the Far East. Tip: Don’t be shy b/c the friendly staff wants you to try the free samples. Bonus: Tokyo Lunch Box caters! Sayonara until next week…
