Sat outside the server was very friendly and accommodating to my wife who has food allergies. Had the ribeye tacos which were fantastic had a thin sliced pickled carrot which made them pop. Great lunch spot and the bar is great for after work.
I would only recommend this place for happy hour drinks. Great drinks, great atmosphere, great loop location and nice outdoor seating. However, the food…. The best part about my dinner was the sweet potato fries. The quinoa and Cous cous was not good. The tuna came out a lot more raw than requested and the salmon was good but nothing to rave about. I would not come here for dinner but I will be back for drinks.
Ate outside on a beautiful evening. Great food, service and atmosphere.
Beautiful restauraunt whether eating inside or out! Pear salad is amazing!!! Everything from the glass you drink out of to the table you eat on is beautiful and clean (even the outdoor tables where we ate)!
Meh…. 10.08.08 -A few lunch-in-the-loops ago, me and The Loopers ventured down the street to Townhouse. While the atmosphere and ambiance (I think they mean the same thing) was nice, the food was average and did not seem to be worth the price. It is a little bit expensive for what you get, but in terms of location and decor, it would be a suitable venue for a lunch meeting or after work get-together. It was fairly crowded, so be sure to make a reservation if possible – although they may only take reservations for larger groups. Since we did not have a reservation, and they did not recognize the fact that we were The Loopers, we were forced to sit at a larger table with other people we didn’t even know, cafeteria style. My associates all tried different types of salads, and all came to the conclusion that while good, nothing great and a tad expensive. I tried the Turkey Club and to be honest, wasn’t too impressed with it. I like big, but I could barely fit this thing in my mouth and had to dissect it, much to the dismay of my business partners. They also forgot my bacon, but it was busy and not a big deal, so I’ll let that slide. In conclusion, it is conveniently located near several offices, so I can see why this eatery is popular, but you could do better somewhere else. Try it and let us know what you think .
