Senator Pamela Althoff. One of my most favorite spots whether ordering dinner or sipping wine on the outdoor patio (in appropriate weather conditions of course!) and partaking in appetizers … the atmosphere, customer friendly staff and affordable fare is one of McHenry’s finest.
AMAZING!!!. This was my first time going to Bimbos and might I say I was missing out! The food was absolutely fantastic; the service was equally the same. My wife had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and I had the Spicy Sausage and Chicken, both were amazing. Ilene (I hope I spelled her name right) was just a very pleasant server. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Look, don’t take my word for it, Just go there and experience this magnificent place for yourself!

Perfect Italian…. Appears to be a small store front restaurant until you enter the front door. Nice layout with a small seating room in front and much larger in back that you can’t see. Staff extremely friendly, polite and attentive. Prices run the $14-$22 per meal and wine selection is good. Portions are large and could be reduced about 1/3, because most people walk away with 1/2 of their dinners in doggy bags. Overall one of the finest Italian restaurants in the Chain of Lakes area that is relatively unknown except for the locals.
