Pushy. Great food . Terrible service. i always tip 20% thats time i left windhill i left nothing and i will not be going back. Got seated righy by the door when the restaurant wasnt even that busy my table was dirty and wiped off after i sat there.Waitress didn’t ask if i wanted a box for my half plate of food just grabbed everything and started stack plates on top of each other. Another waitress comes and hands me my bill while im being asked if id like anything else. Im a younger person and i feel they were trying to push me and my boyfriend out the door as soon as we walked in. Very disappointed in adults today.

We visited Wind hill for the first time this morning, we will be back! The food was delicious and the service was great! The entrance throws you off a bit, when you walk in it appears you are in the middle of the restaurant. We were seated quickly and were able to get a seat at the 14 seat counter so we could have the train deliver our food, very fun! I recommend the pancakes, delicious!
Great place! Has a bar area with a model train that brings out food for kids. Mine were super excited . Cinnamon roll pancakes and Mickey mouse pancakes came out quickly. Pretty good prices and the staff was great. I will definitely go back again.
Best breakfast food ever! Nothing compares. Plus they’re open 365 days a year so I’m always here for holiday brunches. Their Friday night fish fry is to die for!!!
If you want the best breakfast in Mchenry this is the place. Great decor with a plate collection you have to see to beleive .Tell Tom and Jen the owners klaw and Marianne sent you. For something different ask for the Elvis table.
